Q: Who typically lives in your buildings?
A: We like to say we have no one demographic. We try to be as inclusive as possible and make sure our communities are welcoming to all.
Examples of past tenants include empty nesters trying Cleveland out for size, couples living together for the first time and people moving back to Cleveland after spending some time away. Our communities have also become perfect landing spots for medical workers looking to be close to nearby hospitals.
Q: What does the name Tappan mean?
A: The building is named after Tappan Square in Oberlin, which is a public park in the center of town. All three owners of SCA went to Oberlin College and have fond memories of time spent in Tappan Square.
Q: When do you open?
A: June 1, 2020!
Q: How do I express interest and/or take a tour of the model unit?
A: Fill out this form. Someone from our team will write you back and get it scheduled
Q: Are you Pet Friendly?
A: Yes! We have many animals in our buildings. We do not charge pet fees and do not have breed or weight restrictions. We want our buildings to be a place where our four-legged friends are as happy as our two-legged friends
Q: Do you have parking?
A: Yes! Parking is secured and assigned.
Q: When does Leavened open?
A: Leavened will open at some point this summer. Probably mid July to mid August.
Q: What are the Tappan amenities?
A: You can see our amenities page here.
Q: What suggestion do you have for someone thinking of living in Tappan but is on the fence?
A: Talk to past and current residents at our other properties. They can speak best to the quality of construction, our integrity and our response time to any maintenance issues.
