Leavened Bakery, the brainchild of artisan baker Ian Herrington, opened in the Fall of 2020 on the first floor of Tappan. Residents, Clevelanders and food critics alike have all been under the spell of Cardamom Buns and Sour Dough loaves ever since.
Leavened's menu features handcrafted items made daily on site including favorites like baguettes, biscuits, cookies, cinnamon buns, and artisan breads. Leavened is Tremont’s delicious space for everyone in the community to gather, where newcomers and longtime neighbors alike can bond over a common love: carbs!
